The most spectacular solution of our company may be the information portal of T-Home TV, the IPTV service of Hungarian Telekom. The portal has two aims:

• On the one hand, it provides added value for service subscribers, by leading out the most important TV functions to the web. By its help, detailed programmes of most channels can be viewed on a simple surface, the programmes and actors of the following two weeks can be searched for, and the videotheque-offer of the service can also be viewed. T-HomeTV users can initiate to record programmes onto their home set top box, or simply create the list of their favourite channels through the web.
• On the other hand, it informs the potential subscribers interested in the service about the possibilities provided by IPTV. It intends to create a live community page, containing edited contents, programme recommender, and actualities.

The portal is established by using Microsoft technology, its engine is provided by AxCMS Content Management System, into which our own developed modules, e.g. webEPG, were integrated. In the background environment of the portal a database containing programme information, and a database storing user data can be found. The portal is integrated into the T-Home TV services of Hungarian Telekom, thus providing web access for T-HomeTV functions.
